Your game save stays in this browser
The game uses browser storage to remember your level records and best stars, current puzzle, cat teams, sound preference and motion setting. The current puzzle includes the cats still on its board, remaining hearts, mistakes and hints. These saves are not sent to a player account or a game-save server, and they do not synchronize automatically between browsers or devices.
In supported browsers, one game tab holds exclusive permission to write the local save. Other tabs can play and export their open game but do not automatically overwrite that record. If the browser cannot provide safe exclusive saving access, automatic saving and restoration are unavailable; the game shows that status. This local coordination does not create an account or transmit a save to a server.
Version 1.3.0 can migrate earlier Cat Dash level, team and preference records. When you restore a backup, it stores a pre-import safety copy locally before replacing the current record. The saving guide explains what is included and how older incomplete records are handled.
You can remove the save through your browser's controls for this site's stored data. Doing so removes your saved progress and preferences; Restart inside the game only restarts the current puzzle. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent a save from lasting.
Files, result cards and diagnostics you choose to share
Download backup creates a JSON file on your device. A selected backup is checked locally before you confirm restoration. These actions do not upload a game save. A downloaded file remains wherever you keep it even if you later clear the browser's site data.
Result sharing and downloads are optional. A completed-level card or copied result includes the game result and the normal homepage link, not the complete save. If you choose a system share target, that app or service handles what you send under its own terms.
Copy diagnostics shows a local preview containing the game version, platform, level, save/connection/motion status and a limited set of recent game events. It contains no unique player ID or raw save and is not automatically uploaded. You choose whether to copy it and include it in a support message.
Hosting and ordinary web requests
Cloudflare delivers this website and its game files. Requests to a website include technical information such as an IP address, browser information and the requested address. Cloudflare may process this information to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about its processing.
The current game does not require registration, payment details or a player profile. This version does not display advertising or use Google Analytics or social tracking scripts. Local game storage is separate from technical processing used by the hosting service.
Site analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on this website. Its browser script measures page visits and loading performance to help us understand how the site works for visitors. These measurements are separate from your locally saved levels, stars and cat choices.
